eCON 2015 and CPSC

Salam and Greetings eLOs,

Important announcement!

I spoke to Dr.Naim Yaakub, the DG of CPSC (Colombo Plan Staff College) and very informally CPSC has agreed to be the final stage juries for our eCON2015.

Hence, eCON2015 is a very important event, Its objectives are clear and if handle effectively and efficiently, it will highlight out Polytechnic TVET Education. So please ensure that only the best talks are send as your institutions entry.

For this I have decided to extended the final deadline for registration, the new date is NOT 15 Feb but 25 Feb. Please use this extra time to plan and select the best potential idea talks.

"CPSC telah bersetuju secara informal untuk menjadi juri peringkat ahkir bagi eConvergence2015. Mohon pastikan kualiti idea dan produksi video yang baik dari setiap politeknik."

For your info, CPSC is our APACC accreditors.

    Kalau boleh cari juga juri yang betul-betul bidang instructional design..

    Instructional design tidak di perlukan dalam eConvergence. Ia adalah video sahaja. Kualiti video tidak sebegitu penting kualiti idea yang di sampaikan.

    Merujuk kepada objektif ke 5 dalam melaksanakan eConvergence iaitu :-

    Content Creation and Digital Skills for the 21th Century

    This objective is in tandem with the Digital Learning agenda.
    It stresses on the importance of having the right digital skills required by educators and students to produce and manage digital contents for the purpose of learning and teaching.

    Kualiti idea perlu bersandarkan sesuatu. Jika ia untuk tvet perlu ada orang tvet dan jika ia melibatkan teaching and learning seperti dalam objektif, saya merasakan perlu ada juri dari Instructional Design. Agar video yang berkualiti bukan sekadar idea yang tidak mencapai matlamat yang digariskan.

    OK, mungkin saya yang keliru di sini. Mohon perjelaskan maksud penggunaan Instructional Design dalam Video Talk /Ideas seperti TED Talks untuk pencerahan semua. Komen tambahan dari P eL lain?
