This posting discusses three different approach to teaching, i.e, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly modes of teaching and how their students react to them. This three types of teaching are shown in a video format. Video 1 is a clip from a 1980s Hollywood movie, Video 2 is a class from the past, and Video 3 is a fairly recent activity. As educators and once upon-a-time students, what are our thoughts on these three approaches? As you watch these videos, try to imagine our institutions and reflect on what would be the best method and why?
Although CeLT is associated with eLearning, it is important to remember that eLearning is not just about the fancy 'e', it is very much the 'learning' that matters. The 'e' is just a tool, although a very important one in the 21st Century. So, as far as the issue of learning is concerned, what is your take, which of the videos would you consider to be the Good, the Bad or the Ugly?
